General Questions

What is SnapSwap?

SnapSwap is a registration-free, instant cryptocurrency exchange service that allows you to swap one cryptocurrency for another quickly and securely. We prioritize user privacy, requiring no accounts or personal data for standard transactions, and offer both fixed-rate and floating-rate swaps.

How does SnapSwap work?

Select the cryptocurrencies you want to exchange, enter the amount, and your destination wallet address, and send your funds to the deposit address we provide. Our system screens the deposit using third-party blockchain analytics, and if approved, the swapped coins are sent to your wallet instantly, typically within minutes, depending on blockchain confirmation times. If not approved, the assets will be returned to your original address.

Is SnapSwap custodial or non-custodial?

SnapSwap is a non-custodial platform. We do not store your funds or hold balances on our platform. Your cryptocurrency is held temporarily only during the swap process and is sent directly to your provided wallet address upon completion, ensuring you retain full control of your assets.

What makes SnapSwap unique?

SnapSwap offers fast, automated swaps with fixed-rate options to shield against market volatility, requires no account or KYC for standard transactions to ensure privacy, and uses transparent blockchain screening to balance safety with user freedom, making it a top choice for secure and private crypto exchanges.

Can I use SnapSwap in my country?

You can use our service worldwide, except in jurisdictions where cryptocurrency trading is prohibited or sanctioned. It's your responsibility to ensure crypto use is legal in your location.

Exchange Questions

What cryptocurrencies do you support?

We support all major cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ripple (XRP), and over 100 other coins and tokens. Our supported assets list is constantly expanding based on market demand and liquidity.

What is the difference between fixed-rate and floating-rate?

Fixed-rate locks in the exchange rate for 30 minutes, protecting you from market fluctuations. Floating-rate gives you the market rate at the moment we process your transaction, which may be better or worse than when you initiated the exchange. Fixed-rate typically has a slightly higher fee.

How long does a typical exchange take?

Most exchanges complete in 2-10 minutes. The exact time depends on blockchain confirmation times for both the sending and receiving cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin transactions typically take longer than Ethereum or other altcoins.

What are your fees?

Our fees are transparent and built into the exchange rate. For floating-rate exchanges, the fee is typically 0.5%. For fixed-rate exchanges, the fee is typically 1%. There are no hidden charges or network fees beyond standard blockchain transaction fees.

Is there a minimum or maximum exchange amount?

The minimum exchange amount varies by cryptocurrency but is typically equivalent to $10 USD. The maximum exchange amount is $10,000 USD equivalent per transaction. For larger amounts, please contact our support team for special arrangements.
